What is a DIY Crumble Candle?
A DIY Crumble Candle lets YOU be the candle artist! The granulated candle wax comes in 10 different colors, and then you add the scent! Mix and match your favorite colors with your favorite scent, then top it off with a thin layer hot wax to seal your design and provide a base to decorate the top of your candle with our adorable candle toppers.
How long does it take to make a candle?
The longest part of the candle making process is making all of the decisions about which wax colors, scent, and candle decor you'd like!
Our candle making process is simple and straightforward, so most people only take 15-20 minutes to make their candle.
Most candle making places require you to come back hours or even days later to pick up your creation. With a Crumble Candle, your masterpiece is ready in 5-10 minutes and can be burned instantly or displayed as a wonderful work of art.
Is candle making appropriate for kids?
Absolutely! In fact, children are some of our most frequent candle artists. Our youngest candle artist (so far) was four years old!
All we ask is that a trusted adult is nearby to help with melting/pouring the wax to seal the candle and any other tricky parts.
What is the candle decor made of?
All of our candle decor is made from soy-based wax so they will melt easily when you light your candle. Some decor pieces may have tiny amounts of acrylic paint added for detail, so please watch them carefully as they melt and remove any flakes of paint from the melt pool with a toothpick.

What are snap bars and how do I use them?
Snap bars or wax melts are bars of scented wax. They are an alternative to candles for people who want a flameless option to scent their space.
To use, simply break off 1-2 sections of the snap bar and place it in a designated wax melt warmer (either electric or tea light warmers work great). As the bars melt, a delightful aroma will fill your space! For a stronger scent, use more bars. For a lighter scent, use fewer.
Can I remelt my snap bars?
Yes! Remelt the bars as often as you'd like until the scent runs out. Once you can no longer smell the scent, clean out the wax warmer before adding new bars to it.
How do I clean my wax warmer?
While the wax is still melted, use several cotton balls or paper towels to soak up the wax.
OR
If the wax has already hardened, put the top section of the wax warmer in the freezer for 30 minutes or until the wax has frozen. The frozen wax should pop out easily. If not, coax it out with a plastic knife.
If you would like to change the scent but your snap bar still has scent left, use the freezer method and store the frozen puck of wax in a plastic bag until ready to reuse!
